Materials & Build Standards

Construction Specifications

All Rangeview donation bins — regardless of model — are built to the same material and fabrication standards at our Hamilton, Ontario facility. Fabricated and assembled in Canada using North American structural steel.

Structural Steel Construction
Heavy-gauge structural steel plate and tube throughout. All panels are welded — not riveted or bolted. Built to resist impact, prying, vandalism, and continuous daily use in demanding outdoor environments.
Phenolic Primer Base Coat
Industrial-grade phenolic epoxy primer applied as a liquid coating. Provides superior adhesion to steel and excellent corrosion resistance — the foundation of the finish system on every Rangeview bin.
ISO-Free Polyurethane Topcoat
Durable, environmentally compliant ISO-free polyurethane applied as a liquid topcoat. Provides a hard, UV-resistant, weather-resistant surface finish. Both the primer and topcoat are liquid applied — not liquid coat.
Fully Welded Assembly
All structural joints are MIG welded. Welds are ground smooth and inspected before finishing. No hidden fasteners that can loosen, corrode, or fail under load or tampering.
Security Hardware
Recessed lock housing (rolling chute models), steel lock covers, reinforced hinge systems, and tamper-resistant fasteners throughout. Designed to resist unauthorized access and daily operational abuse.
Vinyl Branding Systems
3.0 mil SMF Premium Calendered cut vinyl (up to 6-year outdoor durability) or digital film vinyl with optically clear laminate protection (up to 5–7 years outdoor). Applied in-house at our Hamilton facility.
Canadian Manufacturing
Fabricated and assembled at Rangeview Fabricating Inc., 1940 Brampton St., Hamilton, Ontario. Primary steel materials sourced from North American suppliers. Designed to support USMCA qualification — supporting documentation available on request.
Logistics
All models feature a stable base geometry designed for standard forklift entry. Suitable for LTL (less-than-truckload) and FTL (full truckload) freight. No on-site assembly required.
Quality Inspection
Every bin is inspected before shipping — welds, finish, hardware operation, and graphics alignment. All specifications are subject to change without notice. Contact your representative for current documentation.
